Digital Download of Ambassador poster for Zcash Zcon4.
Zcash is relevant for both city dwellers like in Lagos and those in rural areas like in areas surrounding the iconic Zuma rock. Repurposing the Nkata (with Zcash coins), a basket covered in coins that is traditional in most households in Nigeria, this poster shows that Zcash is a tool for all, both in urban and rural areas. The text in Igbo further emphasizes Zcash’s impact: “mkpuchite, maka mmadụ niile, nnwereonwe” or “Privacy, For All, and Liberty.”
Drawing inspiration from the prevailing reality that a substantial proportion of the Nigerian population remains unbanked, and those with bank accounts encounter persistent surveillance and restricted access to their funds, Zcash takes decisive strides towards advancing gender equality and fostering financial inclusion. By empowering individuals to securely store, transmit, and receive payments with the freedom to choose between private and public transactions, Zcash eliminates any encumbrances or undue interference. The platform places banking capabilities directly into the hands of all users, thus heralding a new era of accessible financial opportunities. Moreover, Zcash extends its support to the art of trade, facilitating seamless transactions with its innovative features and contributing to the growth of commerce in the digital age.
This poster was a collaboration between Zcash Ambassador, Chidi, The Zcash Foundation, and Steve Thomas Art.
