Digital Download of Ambassador poster for Zcash Zcon4.
Did you know that the United States government (and foreign governments) purchase commercially available information (CAI) from private data brokers? CAI can include your location, credit history, insurance claims, criminal records, employment history, income, ethnicity, purchase history, and personal interests. While this information is said to be “anonymous”, multiple recent reports indicate that it’s possible to identify individuals via reverse engineering. A record of every purchase you make, every trip you take, every purchase you make is for sale to companies and governments alike. It’s time for Americans to understand how little control they actually have over the sharing and sale of their personal data. It’s time for Zcash.
You can almost taste the irony of the common motto, “America, Land of the Free.” Big business and the government profit from selling our data. Thankfully, Zcash provides us with a shield to protect our right to privacy. Contrary to political rhetoric, we do not need privacy because we have something to hide, we need it to do normal things like eat ice cream in peace.
